It’s Still Now

My 4 year old son reminds regularly that “It’s still now, Daddy.”

Lyrics:

Breathe, big belly breaths
Let it all out and just rest
Follow your body, it knows how
Remember it’s still now

That thought is a cloud
It drifts away, no longer loud
Let clouds make way for clear skies, ciao
Remember it’s still now

This moment is just perfect
This moment is yours, you picked
This moment is everything if you allow
Remember it’s still now

Let go of worries that last
Let go of the past
You bend and return a strong bough
Remember it’s still now

Don’t let your mind grasp
Or churn or close like a clasp
Even through stress you can plow
Remember it’s still now

Return to your breath as your north
In harmony with Mother Earth
Nothing else needs your attention anyhow
Remember it’s still now
